Okay, I haven't really seen much yet, so these aren't breathtaking scenery pictures or anything. They would have meant a little more if I could have put them in my last post to illustrate the stories I was telling...but it didn't work out...so here they are now.
Here's the little map I liked so much...this was about 500 miles into the trip...6373 miles to go!
Brianne, this one is all for you!!! I kept flipping back to the map channel so I could check when we'd be flying over your casa so I could take a picture and tell you I'm thinking about you!
I fit in with everyone with the mask...but the hair still gave me away! No swine flu for meeee!
This was part of the view as we were getting into Tokyo...there were tons and tons of these brown flat land patches and I asked the girl next to me (who was from Taiwan) and she said it was rice farms. You can't see in this picture, but as we were coming into Tokyo there were blue roofs everywhere. I first thought everyone had pools over here...but then as we got closer I could tell it was actually the roofs of houses all over. You don't see many that color in the states!

Katie. I have been thinking about you ever since you left home. All your other grandmas have been too. They keep asking about you. I am sorry I missed your call.
