The South lawn of the White House, I never went around to the front. Actually I didn't realize this wasn't the front until Rebecca was looking at my pics from the day and she said do you want to see the front of it? Ha, oops, the back was good enough for me!
I went up to the Capitol and got a few close ups...this is a bit further away, but I like that the reflection pool is in this picture.
This is on top of Federal Hill in Baltimore, it is looking over the Inner Harbor, a cool area of the city!
Charity and I at Fort McHenry...notice the cannons in the background! What was really neat is that today in DC we went to see the American Flag exhibit at the Museum of American History they had on display the flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write the "Star Spangled Banner". Well, it was after being attacked by the British in 1812 and the flag survived the battle at Fort McHenry. So I got to put two history lessons/travel visits together! And the flag at the museum is one of the favorite things I saw, it was 30x45...HUGE! Very cool to see it.
These are all the pictures they let me upload in one post, so I'll do a second with a few more pictures!
